Link Wheel

A Link Wheel is a set of mini sites using Web 2.0 sites and social bookmarking sites. Link wheels take advantage of the ability to create your own webpage and links on these popular sites to promote your own site.

The term wheel comes from the way that these pages/links are linked together. Each page will link to the next page in line until you have made a complete circle using all of the pages. In addition to linking to the next page in line, each page also links to your target page or site, the main one you are trying to promote.

This chain of links help to promote each page in the search engines, as the PR and authority of each page increases it also increases the PR and Authority of the next page inline, while at the same time increasing the PR and authority of the target site.

Some websites offer to build website owners link wheels in their quest to gain search engine traffic and ranking. There are a variety of services out there, some better than others, that can do all the hard work at a price.

Link Wheel can range in price from –  the cheapest we have seen at $49 –  way up to about $800. A new method of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) called the Super Link Wheel incorporates blogs and microblogs into the link wheel equation giving a website owner a super power link wheel that has the potential to boost ranking considerably.
